We identify Corporate Family trees when companies share their hierarchy on a social media page, corporate website, or public filing - like the SEC. We assign entity types to company records that have a unique social media page but the website is either shared or redirected to the Parent company. We also monitor news feeds for Mergers and Acquisitions in our Alerts file.
Below are the entity_types and definitions within the Corporate Family Tree:

Within the RampedUp Battlecard, select the Corporate Family tab to view the hierarchy. To download the Family Tree, click the List Building button which will direct the user the Company List Building tab with a search showing "Ultimate Parent" pre-populated.
From here the user can adjust the criteria, review the hierarchy, or choose to download the results. Each company entity chosen for download will deduct one credit.
Like Contact and Company search, The Corporate Family API call will consume 0 (zero) credits to “scan” for preliminary results. The purpose of this API is to allow the user to understand the size and scope of the family tree. The customer must already know the Company RUID to call the API with the below end points:
"companyRuId": "string",
"includeAffiliates": true
The output of Corporate Family API shows the corporate hierarchy and limited firmographic details. The results will not display identifiable data, but we will provide the RUIDs needed to make a call to the Full Company Search API. This will provide full company details:
