In August, we updated 474,631,551 contact profiles - our largest monthly update! We added 17,708,886 new contact records to bring our total number of managed profiles to 1,078,306,764.
Here is the Data Dictionary
We saw growth in most areas however we also saw a dip in some fields due to two new state requirements for opt outs.
- California: The first California Opt-Out file was made available this month and as such we have removed 219,564 records from our file. The RUIDs that represent those records will be available on our own public opt out list found on our website: https://rampedup.io/opt-out-list
- New Jersey: New Jersey revised their Data Protection law to prohibit data brokers from selling or licensing "personal data." The law takes effect this month and as such we are observing the spirit of the law as we better understand it. No records were removed but we did remove "personal data" in the form of 1.2 Million mobile phones and 1.4 Million personal email addresses.
For our company records, we added 476,411 this month bring our total number of companies under management to 92,500,741. Also new to the company records, we are providing a domain graph in the form of a web_identity array. Below are the fields for web_identity:
- Web_identity_social_platforms
- Web_identity_shortened_urls
- Web_identity_redirected_urls
- Web_identity_parked_domains
- web_identity_canonical_url
The Linked iNspector Chrome Extension will be getting a "make over" very soon. We are moving it from within the page so that it now sits outside of the page but on the same tab. That means users can still access the entire page, but we have carved out a space to the right for our extension. Users can expect the same real-time intelligence and much more. We have added the company description and alerts about the company below the contact details. This provides real-time and actionable business intelligence within the extension that was not there before.
The biggest change in the user experience is that the RampedUp icon needs to be pressed to activate the extension. Without activation, the side panel will not open and the user cannot view the contact details. We have added a red flag on the Extension's icon to capture the users attention to help. Once the app is opened, it will stay open as long as the user is logged into RampedUp. We will provide more details closer to the event.
Product Updates
- We can now accept a Social URN and Numerical ID as an input to Contact Data Appending
- We have updated functionality for a user to limit the timeout range for API calls
- We have integrated our Alerts field of Funding into the Company Funding database. There was a brief pause in updating this field but that is no longer the case.
