RampedUp is very pleased to announce that we added 1,046,460 contacts and 33,220 companies in August. VALID Emails grew by 5,015,725 and Contacts with a Mobile Phone grew by 482,637. We updated 360,745,921 contact records this month and flagged 2,604,677 with a recent job change. For a breakdown of all the contact fields, please see our contact counts page.
This was a very big month in terms of adding company data directly from the source. In August, we successfully scanned 37,586,697 company websites and identified 5,330,227 redirects and other websites. These fields are a very important part of our newest product release - Company Data Appending - which will join Contact Data Appending as part of our Data Appending suite of Products.
Company Data Appending takes the inputs below and performs a waterfall process to append company data. Starting with our unique ID and working down to Company Name, the waterfall will use location data to pick the most appropriate record. As an example, if a website or company name returns more than one result, the waterfall will choose the record that matches best to the location inputs. The waterfall will match from a website before a root domain and then redirected websites before matching from a company name.
