RampedUp is releasing new functionality for Contact Search - including the addition of Canadian Provinces, New Industries, New Sectors, Drag Bars for Employee Size and Revenue.
REGIONS: We are replacing CONTACT STATE with CONTACT REGION to better reflect a global database and mirror the functionality in COMPANY SEARCH. This is also to accommodate the addition of Canadian Provinces as part of the drop-down menu. They will be found alphabetically with the US States.
The term STATE will be replaced with REGION in the CSV output.
NEW INDUSTRIES: We are adding the INDUSTRY and SECTOR to the Contact Search and the CSV output. We will keep PRIMARY INDUSTRY as part of Search and the CSV OUTPUT so there will be both PRIMARY INDUSTRY (Legacy) and Company Industry (New.) We are keeping both because there are 440 new industries and 140 primary industries – so it is a big jump. It also will allow the saved searches to populate without any issues.
DRAG BAR: We are replacing employee size and revenue bands in Contact Search with drag bar functionality. This is already in company search and will allow the user to search by a specific number of employees or revenue instead of pre-determined ranges. We will share the actual number of employees and revenue along with the employee and revenue range in the CSV Output.
You will also find CONTACT JOB DESCRIPTION in the Job Criteria tile in Contact Search and CSV Output. This feature allows a user to search for a technology, project, or skill specific to the current job.
Lastly, we are removing SIC6 from the CSV Output because we don’t have a supplier for that any longer. Our thinking is that the new industries should be a much better indicator.
