The Batch Company Appending is a key part of our Data Appending Suite and works by applying a prioritized series of matching rules, starting with the company website and falling back through LinkedIn Company URLs, regional websites, re-directed domains, email domains, and a combination of company name and location. When multiple records share the same attributes, the API uses location data points to break the tie and select the most appropriate record. Here are a few use-cases:
