We are very excited to announce our January 2025 file deliveries and product update. This is our largest contact file with 916,308,725 records with 262,667,236 records updated since the December file.
January 2025 Data Dictionary with Counts
We have seen continued growth in contacts with a Facebook, X (Twitter), or LinkedIn profile prompting us to provide better insight into social influence. To that end, we are introducing a new field, contact_linkedin_followers_count that will highlight the number of people following the contact on LinkedIn. We don’t provide the names of the followers but a great use case for the field is to identify influencers in the B2B space. Another use case is to help prioritize contacts in our database.
This month, we are also introducing contact_active_ru_id. This field will be populated when we have confidence that one person has more than one record in our system. If we see that more than one record is attributed to the same person, we assign a contact_active_ru_id to the inactive records which points to the contact_ru_id of the active record.
Lastly, with so much attention focused on AI and DeepSeek in particular, we wanted to expose our RampedUp Responsible AI Policy. AI is at the core of our product innovation, and it is a key component of identifying job changes. This month, we identified 957,353 people who started their job in January or December and 3,172,879 since October.
We have set up an API to call the database for job changes and the API documentation details how you can filter the results. With the app, you can set up Job Change Notifications to be alerted when job changers meet your saved search criteria. AI also helps us distinguish between mobile and business phones attributed to a contact. This month, we added 998,203 mobile phones to contact records bringing the total number to 59,903,200 in the global flat file.
A few housekeeping items to note:
- We found a flaw in our logic that placed a last name in the middle name field on 1,102,775 records that has been corrected.
- We added contact_personal_region (state) to 14,232,931 contacts that were previously blank but contact_personal_city and contact_personal_country were populated.
