My Leads is a central location to view Contact List Building results and the contacts you researched while using the Linked iNspector Chrome extension. In the upper-left corner of My Leads, a drop-down menu next to Lead Source lets you switch between contacts (or leads) from two sources: RampedUp or iNspector.
RampedUp lead source
These are records from the following sources:
- Contact List Building — after a list has been created and processed, the contacts in that list are also added to My Leads.
- Contact Data Appending — after a CSV has been uploaded and appended, the appended contacts are also added to My Leads.
- Exposing contact details in the app or Salesforce — if a user clicks an email or phone icon in the app to view a contact's details, that contact is also added to My Leads.
iNspector lead source
The RampedUp iNspector is a Chrome extension that shows email, phone and address details for contacts and lists found on social connections. If you are logged into RampedUp and the iNspector extension is activated, every contact you research is also added to My Leads.
Exporting My Leads with a RampedUp lead source
My Leads presents contacts in a table showing the fields that matter most to users — Name, Title, Company, Email Address, and Location. There is also an Alerts field that takes you to the Alerts page with the contact's employer pre-populated for search, along with a timestamp and a delete icon. The timestamp denotes when the contact was added to My Leads — and it is important to note that contacts in My Leads are not updated after that date. Using the timestamp, you can select a date range to view My Leads with the FROM and TO fields at the top of the page.
To download, select the EXPORT button in the upper-right corner and choose DOWNLOAD ALL to export the selected date range or the entirety of My Leads to a CSV. You can also filter to specific contacts with the check boxes and press DOWNLOAD SELECTED. You can push My Leads into bulk suppression — to filter results in Contact List Building — by selecting IMPORT TO BULK SUPPRESSION. Exporting My Leads with an iNspector lead source
The process is identical to exporting with a RampedUp lead source, but note that each lead source needs a separate export. The two lead sources differ: RampedUp is a cultivated dataset where each record decremented a credit, while iNspector is a contact built in real time with no credit decremented. As a result, some fields may be populated in one source but not the other.
View Downloads
Depending on the size of the list when exporting My Leads, you may be asked to create a list name and download it after it has been built. A prompt appears if the list size requires this process, where you name and save the list. Once it is built, an email is sent to you letting you know the list is ready. You can find it in the View Downloads box in the upper-right corner of My Leads, which links to a page where this and previous named lists can be viewed and downloaded.
