We added 1,824,060 and updated 388,714,389 contacts this month, bringing the total number of contacts under management to 918,132,785. This helped increase the total number of contacts with VALID professional email addresses by 456,904 and mobile phones by 1,010,372. We also added 465,958 new companies to the company file.
In this month’s contact file, we have identified 1,156,531 contacts that have started a new job (and have an updated job start date) since our January delivery. We have made finding these people easier within the app with Job Change Notifications that can now be created at the time of download. Our file is being updated nightly so these notifications are within 24 hours of the job change. We have also increased the number of contacts with linkedin_followers to 236,572,828. This is a new field that shows the actual number of people following contact and can be searched within our app.
Finally, we have increased the number of active_contact_ru_id’s to 25,558,902 – this too is a new field that identifies multiple contact records that most likely represent the same person. The active_contact_ru_id denotes the record is a duplicate and points to the most recent profile. We will soon be looking for inactive LinkedIn URLs to help with this project.

Active LinkedIn URL - we have embarked on a process to identify inactive LinkedIn URLs that result in a 404-error message. These records will be flagged if you would like to remove them from your products. We didn't remove them completely because oftentimes these links act as a field from which we can append data.
